Elemental Meridian: Where Classical meets Waldorf
One of the coolest things about homeschooling a child is having the ability to cherry pick from any educational philosophy we choose in order to find the style which works best for us. As the mother of children who have graduated from university, private school, public school, and homeschool as well as one little 8 year old daughter, I have experienced many styles of learning and teaching. The things which work best for my youngest and I are inspired, most often, by beauty. We have an odd meshing of Classical and Waldorf, which will become less odd, I'm certain, as time goes on and her school work becomes more difficult. My daughter learns best when her lessons are lovely and engaging. Hopefully some of what I post will be helpful to you in your homeschool, as it will be helpful to us as a chronicle of our homeschool journey.-
