Lucky the Leprechaun

Several years ago our family was joined by Lucky, a little leprechaun. When St Paddy’s Day shows up in the distance, around the beginning of March, Martina goes to the drawer and  takes Lucky out and places him on a little cushion somewhere in our house. Each day, Lucky hides at  least once. Sometimes he is very difficult to find and others, he hides in a simple to find location.

When the Big Day finally arrives, Lucky absconds with his pot of gold. He can’t but leave a trail though and Martina has become an expert at finding him wherever he may be.

This year he was in the Real Live (seriously) fairy house in a tree in our drive. Martina was ecstatic.
