Quiet Time

In the camper, cuddled up and reading

We went camping for a few days, took in the South East Woman’s Herbal Conference, a natural dyeing workshop and a couple of weeks of school work. We’re still working through the Arabian Nights, –the Seven Voyages of Sindbad, to be precise. Last week we reviewed multiplication and the 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s tables by writing, rhythmic exercises, balance beam and log hopping. We’re 10 letters deep into the Greek ‘alphabeta’ and four books into Harry Potter.

I haven’t been feeling like blogging because of a personal thing which has me processing some old pain and hopefully finally moving past it. Our school rhythm is nice but feels bit confining sometimes and so I’m thinking of working harder towards finishing our stuff earlier in the day so that we can spend the afternoons with our passions.
